Our classes are a mix of strength training, cardio conditioning and endurance training. This fun, total-body workout consists of 12 different exercises every class, all personally designed to challenge you in a way that will keep you on track toward your personal fitness goals.


What are the Main Benefits of Circuit Training?

1. Whatever your level of fitness, whether you’re a top athlete or merely a beginner, you will all work together in the same training session. It is perfectly acceptable for you to work at your own pace within each activity and workout-station. How you use your 60 seconds is entirely up to you - and I am there to teach, encourage and motivate you every step of the way.

2. You will significantly improve your cardiovascular fitness level by exercising in short bursts of approximately 60 seconds each. The types of aerobic exercises we incorporate are targeted at maximum effect in the minimum time. Jumping rope, step-ups and other burst-type activities are all excellent for elevating your heart rate. These exercises also concentrate on muscle groups which use a lot of energy and therefore burn lot of calories. When we follow an aerobic work-station with a high repetition and strength station, you will sustain a raised heart rate and therefore get the best possible results.

3. Circuit training is excellent for developing overall strength and body tone. Circuit training tends to concentrate on compound exercises, which are those that use more than one muscle group at a time. These exercises have proven to be much more effective than most types of gym equipment that focus on one set of muscles only.

4. The type of rotational activity involved in circuit training is an excellent fat burner. Keeping your heart rate elevated throughout the class will keep you burning more calories the whole time.....and the majority of those calories come from stored fat!

5. Circuit training is psychologically rewarding. Whatever your level of fitness, you can really push yourself and set your own goals in the knowledge that you’ve only got 60 seconds worth of any activity before you get a rest or move on to the next station. Each class you complete is a step close to the best you possible!
